Yamamoto gives imagined forms a quiet emotional presence through sculpture, drawing and painting. His 2025 GR2 exhibition Days Like These... brought that sensibility to Sawtelle and included collaborations with 81 Bastards. His archive also records mixed-media sculpture at Giant Robot in 2015, tracing a sustained connection with the gallery community.
Kawasaki's paintings and drawings pair precise line work with the natural grain of wood panels. Her exhibition archive records repeated GR2 appearances, including Post-It in 2020, Something Special in 2022 and Rakugaki Six in 2024. These documented exhibitions offer a useful introduction to her work through Sawtelle's gallery history.
Artist profiles describe documented past exhibitions, not current shows or private studios open to visitors. GR2 at 2062 and Giant Robot Gallery at 2017 are distinct venues within the same organization; check each location's access schedule.
